Recently Seen: ‘In the Loop’
Netflix says: When the U.S. president and the U.K. prime minister decide to invade a certain Middle Eastern country, skeptical American and British operatives do their best to stop the runaway train to war in director Armando Iannucci's scathing political comedy. This Oscar nominee for Best Adapted Screenplay stars Tom Hollander as a British international development chief, James Gandolfini as a U.S. general, and Anna Chlumsky as a well-positioned intern.
Rob says: While this film winds up being mildly entertaining, I feel that the comedy should have been pushed up a notch. At times it feels if the film meanders about trying to set up the next funny moment but never really accomplishes what it sets out to do.
