Ones to watch out for in 2011: Mitten

Brooklyn's Mitten are set to release their debut EP, "See You Bye," on Jan. 28. As they describe themselves, "unexpected union of post-rock intricacy and pre-rock intimacy, delivered with all of the breathless urgency of 80’s New Wave." For me, there are some similarities to Anni Rossi's "Heavy Meadow," especially on the track "Green."
